ABOUT US

The Heritage Foundation encompasses Comic Heritage, Musical Heritage, Sports Heritage and Films & TV Heritage. Essentially the aim of the foundation is to combine paying tribute to Britain's wealth of talent who have bought pleasure and joy to millions through their performances or technical skills with raising funds for good causes through our charity "The Arts and Entertainment Charitable Trust".

Fund raising events include erecting permanent memorials in the shape of Blue Plaques, staging tribute evenings, luncheons and concerts. In addition we also honour today's talent whether on stage, television, radio or in film, in performance, production or scriptwriting, they are acknowledged and celebrated at the Heritage's highly prized annual Awards Luncheon at a star studded gala ceremony held in June each year.

The Arts and Entertainment Charitable Trust supports a range of national and regional charities, including Childline, The Variety Club Children's Charity, Imperial Cancer Research, British Strokes Association, British Heart Foundation , Aspire, Parkinson's disease Society, Lymphoma Association, Manx Mencap, Lord Taverners, National Playing Fields Association, Children of Chernobyl, Rochdale Mayors Appeal, South Bucks NHS Trust, Derrian House Children's Hospice, Tree of Hope, The Grand Order of Water Rats, the Lady Ratlings, and The Entertainment Artiste's Benevolent Fund. Other causes and charities are always being considered to benefit from The Heritage Foundation's work
