KEITH MOON PLAQUE UNVEILING

The Heritage Foundation paid tribute to Keith Moon, the legendary drummer of the iconic 60’s rock band The Who on Sunday the 8th March 09. The unveiling took place in Wardour Street and was performed by members of Keith’s family, Roger Daltrey CBE and the Rt. Hon. Lord Mayor of Westminster, Louise Hyams. Guests were then invited back to the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane For a 3 course luncheon hosted by Foundation Vice President Mike Read. Music was provided by Who tribute band Who’s Who. Proceeds were donated to the Bomber Command Memorial Appeal Fund.
